Travel Trailer Rental Agreement
A deposit of $500.00 is required at
time of reservation. This deposit serves as the booking deposit and during
rentals the damage deposit. The deposit
is non-refundable when the booking is cancelled and no other booking is
secured. A $75.00 cancellation fee will
be retained from deposit if booking is cancelled and alternate booking is
secured.
The deposit is
refunded when the vehicle and equipment is returned clean, undamaged, and
complete with all accessories. Refunded
deposits may take up to 7 business days after return of the vehicle to allow
for an proper post trip inspection of the unit and for credit card companies to
process.
If damage is found
after return of unit and before the following rental, Bella Vista Helicopters
Ltd./Bella Vista RV Rentals reserves the right to bill for damages. A $75.00 fee will be charged for damages
requiring 3rd party repair.
Rental charges are
based on the number of nights the vehicle is used. Each night constitutes a day
of charge regardless of the time the vehicle was picked up. Vehicle pickup time
is
Full payment for rental, including taxes, and miscellaneous charges are
required 2 weeks prior to rental. Rates
do not include 7% GST & 7% PST.
Stationery Trailers: No extra insurance is needed. Any damage occuring during rental will be
charged to the lessee. Dry camping is
not recommended as battery power may not last and holding tanks fill up. Bella Vista Helicopters Ltd./Bella Vista RV Rentals
is not responsible for dead batteries or overful tanks.
Self Towed Trailers: All drivers must possess a valid B.C. drivers
license. Only drivers signed and listed
on the rental agreement are allowed to tow the vehicle. All renters must have prior knowledge of
towing, hooking and unhooking trailers.
Tow vehicles must be properly rated for towing (check with your vehicle
manufacturer). Trailers that are self
towed require: Class lV Hitch, electric brake control, proper
7 prong wiring for braking and lighting, a
The lessee
is responsible for maintaining tire pressure.
Lessee's will be held responsible for damage due to negligence in
operation and/or normal maintenance. Clients are authorized to proceed with
necessary repairs up to $500.00 and should call the lessor for approval of any
repairs exceeding $500.00. Authorized
repairs will be reimbursed, at return of vehicle, upon presentation of receipts
and any replaced parts. In the event the vehicle is involved in an accident, it
is the responsibility of the lessee to return the vehicle to a place designated
by the lessor. Off-road driving is prohibited. Evidence of
off-road travel (ie. damage to tires from shot rock road) will result in tire
replacement at the cost of the lessee.
Lessee
agrees not to use, or permit the use of the vehicle for an unlawful purpose:
eg. to drive in a negligent manner, nor tow while under the influence of
alcohol or narcotics.

Travel Trailer Rental Agreement
Trailers are
supplied with full tanks of propane.
Upon return/pickup of the trailer, propane tanks must be full. Propane cost plus a $10.00 fee will be
charged if tank/s are not full at termination of rental. All propane refuelling during the rental is
at the lessee’s expense. Upon return/pick
up of the vehicle the holding tanks must be emptied and rinsed. The vehicle
exterior washed if noticeably dirty (self towed trailers only). The interior
vacuumed and completely cleaned. Failure
to empty tanks will result in a $50.00 charge.
Failure to clean the vehicle and/or accessories/equipment will result in
a $50.00 charge and if excessively dirty the cost of a professional cleaning
company.
Lessee
expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless of, from, and against any and
all loss, costs, damages, attorneys fees and/or liability in connection with
the enforcing of this contract by lessor, including expenses incurred in
collecting or attempting to collect delinquent rent, and in the event suit is
instituted by lessor to recover possession of said vehicle and/or to enforce
any of the terms, conditions, and/or fees of lessor incurred in connection
therewith. The lessee agrees that the lessor may enter upon the lessee's premises
for the purpose of recovering possession of the said vehicle and no action
shall be maintained for tresspass or otherwise.
Lessee
acknowledges his/her responsibility and will hold the lessor harmless from any
and all fines, forfeitures and penalties arising out of any violation of
law:that the lessor shall not be held liable for damages, inconvenience, or
time lost caused by accident breakdown or malfunction of the vehicle. The
lessor is not responsibile for damage or loss occuring to any of the lessee's
personal property while in, or on the rented vehicle. Lessee further agrees to
indemnify and hold harmless the lessor from, and against any and all claims for
loss of, or damage to property or injury to persons, including death, resulting
through the use, operation, or possession of the vehicle.
If the
vehicle is stolen, the lessee shall notify local police immediately. And notify
the lessor and the lessee assumes the burden of firmly establishing its loss
and to return the vehicle keys to the lessor.
If the
vehicle is not returned upon request of the lessor, it will be considered theft
and the rental agreement will be terminated.
The lessee
acknowledges he/ she has carefully examined the vehicle and finds it suitable
for the purpose for which it is leased. The lessee understands all operations
of the vehicle. All units are Non
Smoking . Pets are not allowed. The
lessee has read, understands, and agrees to all the conditions of this
contract.
